2sleeves saltine crackers
½cupunsalted butter
½cupvegetable oil
½cuphoney
2teaspoonsred pepper flakes
Whipped Goat Cheese
10ozgoat cheeseroom temperature
2ozcream cheeseroom temperature

Instructions
Hot Honey Saltines
Preheat the oven to 300°F.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the vegetable oil, honey, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute, until combined and fragrant.
Place the saltines in a large mixing bowl. Pour the hot honey mixture over the crackers and toss gently but thoroughly until evenly coated.
Lay the saltines in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. (you might need 2 baking sheets)
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and candied but not burnt. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
Whipped Goat Cheese
In a mixing bowl or stand mixer, whip the goat cheese, cream cheese, and salt until light, fluffy, and doubled in volume, about 3–4 minutes.
To Serve
Serve the cooled hot honey saltines on a platter with the whipped goat cheese for dipping.
Notes
Storage: Crackers can be made up to 1 week in advance. Cool completely, then store in an airtight container at room temperature.
